Mila Sketch

Mila Sketch is a professional modern award-winning artist. She enjoys creating intricate fine art, digital design, and large-scale murals. Mila is a registered City Of Austin Vendor. In her art, she draws people's attention to current topics of the time. A lot of artworks dedicated to the City, Nature, and it's correlation. Mila Sketch is an environmental artist, and always reminding people through her art how important the "green and wild'' is for our present and future. Mila creates a milliard of tiny details being a part of a global and whole mechanism.

Sketch's art technique is driven by joy, passion and complete focus. Each of Mila’s artworks has a great story and connects our past and future in a current moment of being.

Mila Sketch was born in Russian extreme northwest port city Murmansk on the border with Norway and Finland, in 1985. As her career progressed, she felt the strong need to dedicate all her professional and creative time to graphic paintings. Mila’s artworks have now been exhibited worldwide since 2002.

Mila Sketch lives and creates in Austin, TX. Her art career has blossomed here. Mila had an amazing experience creating art for Austin Parks Foundation, CLIF Bar, Google, SXSW Festival, Mazda USA, X-Games, Lifeproof, La Corsha Hospitality Group and many more. Mila was a semifinalist in the Bombay Sapphire Art competition at the Art on 5th Gallery, 2016-2017. At the end of November 2016, Mila Sketch won the RideAustin mural contest. In June 2017 Mila won a Gold Award of Bastrop Art in Public Places in 2D Art Project. In August 2017, Sketch is a finalist in the US Mint & NASA Apollo 11 Design National Competition. October 2017, she took the first place in the National Call for Design of the CAN’d Aid Foundation’s CANvas CANpaign. Her winning artwork is now being featured on one Million cans of drinking water. Mila Sketch artworks are currently exhibited at the People’s Gallery in the City Hall of Austin. Mila Sketch has recently won a mural bid for the Georgetown Art in Public Places Downtown Mural Project.
